Election to the Board of Directors

At the upcoming Annual General Meeting on 26 March 2008, Dr Andres F. Leuenberger,
Vice-Chairman, will retire from the Board. The Board of Directors will propose to the Annual General Meeting to newly elect Dr Nabil Sakkab as a non-executive director to the Board. Dr Sakkab retired from Procter & Gamble in 2007 as Senior Vice-President, Corporate Research & Development, following several assignments in Cincinnati, Brussels and Kobe, Japan. The Board of Directors also proposes to re-elect Prof Henner Schierenbeck   for a term of three years in accordance with the articles of incorporation. Elections are individual.
